March 2006:

Now it is finally fixed: our first public appearance in Böhl on May 19th. We are busy working on our program. Nearly 50 songs are a great challenge. In a new photo gallery you may take a glimpse in our rehearsal room.

December 2005:

Günther Schäffner joined Helen & The Poor Boys as a second guitar player: finally we are complete now. Fringo had to spend some time in hospital, but now in January we will start with power!

October 2005:

With "Big D." back on his feet again, Enzo has decided that he would prefer to concentrate on another project of his and has made a surprise exit from the band. Hmmm… right… well… we’re on the search again. But should we search for a keyboarder? Or a guitarrist? We’ll have to wait and see. We have now set up the first advertisements.

September 17th, 2005:

Today should be the day of our first gig. Our two new members Klaus and Enzo have been working hard at learning nearly 40 songs. The result??? Instead of playing our first gig today our guitarist is lying in hospital with pneumonia. The gig has had to be cancelled at the last minute…. Damn!

August 24th, 2005:

The search took a few days only: With Enzo Cianciosi on guitar and keyboards and Klaus Hartmann as male counterpart to our singer Helen, we're on the right way now. Only 4 weeks left till our very first public gig on September, 17th...

August 4th, 2005:

Sometimes things don't work out as they should do... Again Helen & The Poor Boys are searching for a strong singer!

April 18th, 2005:

We are nearly complete. Helen, our powerful lead singer from England, Pete ("Dr. Pete"), an old hand on the bass guitar (also from the United Kingdom), "Fringo" Frank on the drums and "Big D" Diethard on the lead guitar. We are still missing a fifth member though: the front man with a guitar and a good voice to accompany Helen at the front of the stage. After months of searching we have yet to find Mr. Right so that we can finally get started.
